1. Wiggle the steering wheel:
Many times, when the steering wheel is locked, and that is why the key won’t turn on, it is a good idea to wiggle the steering wheel. Once you do so, the ignition system will be unlocked.
After that, you have to remove the key and insert it once again. If the steering wheel is locked or the ignition system gets locked, you will be able to unlock it with this simple step.
2. Check the battery:
Many times, when the battery of the car is down, the ignition system will be locked. In that case, even when you put the right key into the ignition slot, it simply will not turn.

6. Call a locksmith:
